A child drifts into a peaceful sleep while listening to a mother's lullaby-a practice found in all societies, from ancient times to the present. That is the power of a song, regardless of the language or musical style.

Listening to melodious, soul-soothing songs brings mental peace and leads to deep sleep.

Exhausted from my tours, here I am at home now, just before bedtime...

The changes that have occurred are not due to the coronavirus itself, but rather the lockdowns and online education. Menstrual cycles have been disrupted-it is not just a matter of the duration changing by a day; some women are experiencing heavy bleeding, while others are going as long as three months without a period. There are many other issues as well. Only now are the truths slowly beginning to be acknowledged.

The changes that have occurred are not due to the coronavirus itself, but rather the lockdowns and online education.

How does a twenty-year-old person think about sex? What about the same person when he turns forty? And what happens when the same person reaches sixty?

It is not just age. The place of birth, caste, religion, race, family background, neighbours, the school, college and university attended, friends, health, financial condition - all these influence a person's way of thinking.

Every person has what can be called a basic personality structure. Similarly, every society has one too.

Society and culture influence a person, often without the person even realizing it.

The difference is only in the degree.

"These auto drivers are always trying to cheat people! On top of that, they are very irritating," says a middle-class person.

"Even after working from morning till night in traffic and pollution, it is difficult to support my family," says the auto driver.

Whose opinion is correct?

The person who has succeeded in life has one way of thinking... the person who has struggled has another perspective.

To a person travelling in a Benz car, the person crossing the road on foot may appear to be a nuisance. To that person, the Benz owner may appear to be an exploiter.

"These women! Even an hour is not enough for them to get ready. Once they start shopping, they forget everything," says the husband.

"When will this man ever understand me? Everything has to happen exactly the way he wants. He cannot even understand why women need time to get ready," says the homemaker.

Type One:

"Every country in this world is useless. Our country alone is great. Even within our country, the North is useless and the South is the best. No, even in the South, the other states are of no use. Our state is the greatest. In our state, all the other districts are useless. Our district alone is great. In our district, our mandal is the greatest. And within that, our village is the greatest. Everyone else in our village is useless. Our house is the greatest. No, even in my house, my wife is useless. My son is useless. I alone am great."

This is one way of thinking.

Poor people carry the philosophy of hatred on their heads every day. Unable to bear the weight, their hearts and other organs suffer. Dissatisfaction, dissatisfaction... dissatisfaction throughout life. They are never at peace with themselves.

Type Two:

Such a person understands who they are. They have empathy. Whether as a husband, wife or boss, they perform well in every role. Mostly successful... always happy.

This is exactly what is examined in Civil Services interviews.

Having an opinion of your own is not wrong, as long as that opinion is not against society. But have you understood the other person's opinion? Can you defend your opinion through a sensitive argument? If you are proved wrong, can you accept it? Can you convince and win over people who hold a different opinion?

Take a look back at my Facebook posts once.

When the whole world was afraid of COVID, I said there was no need to panic and explained what needed to be done. At first, people looked at me as though I were crazy. Still, I did not back down, because truth was on my side.

I explained what harm closing schools would cause to children. One group deliberately tried to throw mud at me. Still, I did not back down, because truth was on my side.

I said, "No more vaccines, please." At that time, everyone... and even today, many people continue to have doubts about it. My vaccine posts do not even receive half the likes and shares that my other posts receive. Still, I will not back down, because truth is on my side.

This hero, that hero... this party, that party... this leader, that leader... these are all social opinions. There are no universal truths in these matters. They are simply opinions. Everyone has their own opinion. Their tastes, preferences and dislikes are their own.

I keep reading. I keep trying to understand psychology. I do not post about everything. I do not get into arguments.

Whatever we do should have meaning and purpose. Time is valuable.

By the way, Gandhi, Bose, Ambedkar... extremists, terrorists, moderates... questions on many such subjects are asked in Civil Services and Group 1 interviews.

I teach these topics during interview guidance. I teach students how to answer questions in a way that appeals to the interview board.

Not just once, but many times. There have been many occasions when students later told me, "Sir... superb! The interview board appreciated my answer, sir."

Many of my students have scored very high marks in interviews.

One incident:

This happened nearly fifteen years ago. Kruthika Vasireddy was attending the National Talent Search Examination interview.

They asked her: "They say Ayyappa is God. If Ayyappa means a man and a man comes together, how can a human being be born?"

She answered:

"Sir, religion is a matter of belief. We cannot apply logic to everything. It cannot always be scientifically proven. Whether to believe or not is an individual's choice. A union between two men does not lead to the birth of a child. But perhaps if science develops in the future, even this may become possible. Science deals with cause-and-effect relationships.

A firefly lives for only one day. It cannot even conceive of a week, a month or a season. Even if we explained these things in its language, it would not understand.

A human being lives for around a hundred years. There is a world even 500 light-years away. There are black holes from which light itself cannot escape.

We cannot say that something does not exist simply because it is beyond the limits of our senses. At the same time, we should not indulge in mere imagination or fiction. Scientific progress must not stop."

They reportedly stood up and applauded, saying, "We only asked an eighth-grade girl a question. Look at the answer she has given!"

As the seed, so the tree!

Our way of thinking shapes our life and our future.

I posted this morning about how children should be taught, how we should make them think, and how we should educate them during tours.

When it comes to history related to children, they should read it through books. The books that exist today have been written by the governments that were in power at the time.

Differences of opinion are not wrong. But the attitude of "I have decided that the rabbit has only three legs" is not good. One should arrive at an opinion after gathering complete information. That is the essence of the post.

Gandhi and Nehru were human beings, weren't they? Didn't they make mistakes? Before pointing out their mistakes, understand them first. That is what I told the children.

Some people are getting emotional, as if I have started a party for Gandhi and Nehru and am campaigning in their favour.

At least, don't you read the post completely?

Oh God!

Follower or Leader?

Follower: He mortgages his brain to someone else. He develops a herd mentality. He carries the flag, keeps shouting slogans, and spends his entire life in the back row. This is not limited to politics. It applies to every field!

Leader: Independent thinking. Discretion. Empathy. He understands that differences of opinion are natural in social matters. He understands the other person's point of view. If his opinion is wrong, he changes it. Or he convinces the other person. Whether it is medicine, engineering, IAS, or any other field, he can excel as a leader.

What do you want your children to become?

If you want to turn them into someone else's follower, tell them that one particular opinion is the truth, that it is final, that they must believe it, and that they must cheer for it.

If you want them to become leaders: Listen to what anyone says, but do not accept it immediately. Think about it and understand it. Think from all angles. A question is more important than an answer. Information is fine. But if even the opinion is given to them, how will they think for themselves? Ask questions. Make them think about the answers. Encourage them to think!

For example, as a continuation of the post I made this morning, ask questions like these:

1. At the Tripuri Congress session, Netaji was elected as the Congress President. Why did he have to resign? What was Gandhi's role in this? People say that Gandhi prevented Netaji from rising. Then, when Netaji later formed his government in Singapore, why did Gandhiji refer to him as his leader? Why did Netaji call Gandhi the Father of the Nation?

2. Did the country suffer because of Gandhi's non-violence? With Japanese support, Sukarno liberated Indonesia. What happened afterwards? Why did they have to fight for independence a second time? Has any violent movement anywhere in the world achieved lasting success? Where did the LTTE fail? What about the Naxalite movement in our country?

We must question and think from different perspectives. Finally, we must arrive at an opinion. Children should understand that differences of opinion are natural in social matters. They should respect other people's opinions. If necessary, they should be able to convince others.

Gandhi, Nehru, and Bose are in heaven. Or, from a scientific perspective, their lives ended long ago. We don't need to praise them, criticize them, fight over them, or conduct opinion polls to declare them winners or losers. What benefit do they get from it? Apart from wasting our time, nothing.

How we understand history is a reflection of our maturity and our way of thinking. This is particularly important when it comes to children.

A mature opinion requires comprehensive information about a subject. Once you arrive at a conclusion after understanding the complete picture, the question of whether your opinion is right or wrong does not arise in the same way. In the examples mentioned above, once you understand Indonesia, Japan, Hitler, and Mussolini, you may conclude that Gandhi was right or that Subhash was right. Both perspectives can have their own validity. There is no rule that only my opinion is correct. We must raise our children in the same way.

Forget social matters for a moment. We are living in an era where even scientific matters require discretion and critical thinking.

Since June last year, I have been repeating the same point twice every week, like the old saying, "singing the same song again and again."

"Sir, the companies that developed the vaccines that received emergency approval are themselves not guaranteeing them. Especially those belonging to the mRNA category. These are like poison. It does not mean that something will happen to everyone. In some people, depending on their individual body characteristics, the antibodies produced by the vaccines may attack their own body. Hair loss, memory problems, increased blood sugar, cardiac arrest, stroke, and many other problems may occur. By the time of the second wave, Delta had already infected almost everyone. T-cells provided protection because of this. Now the problem is not Corona. The problem is the vaccine. Whatever has happened has happened. Do not take any more."

This is what I said.

He is a cardiologist of Indian origin. His name is Dr. Malhotra. He conducted research and reached a conclusion. That research paper was also peer-reviewed. He claimed that he had evidence showing that vaccines were responsible for the cardiac arrests and deaths of many people, including his own father. He said, "These vaccines are one of the biggest frauds of our time." This news clip is now going viral.

In Agra, I made my students experience the history of the Mughals; in Jaipur, the history of the Rajputs; in Delhi, the history of the Delhi Sultans; the freedom movement, especially Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru, Subhash Bose.... In this way, I made them experience a thousand years of history.

History is not about memorizing the events that happened. It is about learning lessons from them. Analysis and application.

"In which year was Gandhi born? What were the names of his parents?" I don't serve a meal of history made up of bits and pieces like this.

There is no better life-skills lesson than history. If we learn the right lessons from it, we can make our lives happier and more meaningful.

"He was born in Porbandar about 150 years ago. Via London and South Africa, he eventually reached Delhi and was killed by bullets at Birla House on what is today Tees January Marg.

His father was a Diwan {that is, the Prime Minister of a princely state}. Why did this boy from Porbandar choose the path of struggle instead of living a happy and comfortable life?

Why did he return to India from South Africa, that too in middle age?

At that time, there were internal conflicts in the Congress and a struggle for leadership. How did he gain an unchallenged grip over the Congress and the national movement within just four years?

How did he become a Mahatma?

Father of the Nation... What a huge title! From Ashoka onwards, there have been so many great personalities. How did this thin, frail man become the father of an entire nation? What was the secret?

There are history professors on WhatsApp who come out with their own nonsense, saying that Nehru smoked bidis or that Gandhi had a weakness for women. They make today's youth think, "If someone like Nehru or Gandhi did such things, then we can happily watch porn on our phones, smoke marijuana, or commit rapes."

Even the moon has spots. Gandhi and Nehru were human beings. Did they have flaws? Of course they did.

But should someone who cannot produce even a piece of history by digging into their own stomach be casually commenting on Gandhi and Nehru? First, understand them and their greatness comprehensively. Then discuss their shortcomings.

There is enough subject matter to criticize Gandhi's approach towards Subhash Bose for two hours. But first, do you know about Fascism and Nazism, WhatsApp-nonsense professor? If you don't, you have no right to speak.

Similarly, we can discuss the differences between Ambedkar and Gandhi regarding their approaches to the problems of oppressed castes. But first, you should know about Buddhism, Jainism, and the Bhakti movement.

Repeating two or three formulaic words someone else has told you without knowing anything is not history. So don't fall into the trap of today's WhatsApp history professors. Their ignorance is at the lowest level.

Ask this question: An Englishman once described Gandhi as being comparable to Buddha and Jesus Christ. What made Gandhi such a great person?

What is the lesson we can learn from his life?

"Sacrifice... non-violence..." came the answers.

"True, all of those are correct. But there is something beyond all of them.

We went to Manali and returned. Terrifying valleys. Terrible roads. Bus travel from early morning until midnight. We slept comfortably on the bus. How alertly did the driver and the bus boy drive? What if they had fallen asleep? What if they had made a small mistake at a bend? It feels frightening, doesn't it?

Yes, they were doing their duty. They were being paid for it. We paid money for the tour. But is that the whole equation?

We must understand other people. We must put ourselves in their place and understand them. That is called empathy, not sympathy. Empathy.

The Diwan's son becoming a half-naked fakir happened because of empathy. This quality is what made him live in the hearts of millions of people.

Wherever you go in life, you should become a leader.

You must develop empathy. If you have it, all relationships-husband and wife, parents and children, boss and employee-will move smoothly. Life will become joyful..."

This is how my class continued.

In the rain, in front of the Taj; in Agra Fort, in the Diwan-i-Khas and Diwan-i-Aam; in the Jaipur Palace; at Amber Palace; at Rohtang Pass {where we had geography lessons}; at Kisan Ghat, Shakti Sthal, Shanti Van, Birla House, Teen Murti Bhavan... At every place, about half an hour. In total, several hours during the entire tour.

Do you think the children got bored?

At six in the evening, at Shanti Van, there was a class lasting nearly forty minutes. It was getting dark. A security person came and told us that it was time to leave. I finished the class ten minutes later.

From there, we had another twenty-minute walk to the bus outside. All along the way, the students took turns asking questions.

"Sir, how can we control our anger?"

"How can we stop overthinking something?"

"What will mechanical engineering be like in the coming years?"

A rain of questions. I answered all of them.

Life Skills Education.

If I had to give the tour a name, this would be the perfect name.

After teaching the lesson, when I gave the children some time to take photographs, I disappeared. Later, I appeared in the jumping photos posted on Facebook.

That, in brief, was our tour.

I will share more details in future posts.

The tour has concluded. All the children are on their return journey, currently at Delhi Airport.

Carrying a treasure trove of adventures, joy, and-above all-learning and lifelong memories, they are now heading home, reluctant to let the experience end.

Facebook is a thousand times better.

Twitter in India has become a platform for...

1. Political paid agents

(They use fake names and fake accounts. They post obscenities! Cheap... absolutely cheap.)

2. Sex workers

(Display pictures showing semi-nude or fully nude figures; posts asking "Do you want an auntie?" or "I need a boyfriend.")

The worst part is that on Facebook, we mostly see posts from people on our friends list. But on this trashy Twitter, the garbage posts mentioned above pop up as notifications right on your mobile screen.

By the way, it seems Delhi's look and character have changed. After dinner, I stepped out onto the road alone for ten minutes-near the airport area. Right out in the open, there were at least ten brokers-at every step-asking, "Do you want a Russian girl? An Indian girl? Massage? Drinks?"

I felt like using that famous Brahmanandam dialogue: "Do I look like such a complete fool to you? Don't I even look somewhat decent?"

But they didn't know Telugu. Realizing that responding in any way would only make them pester me more, I walked away quickly!

Whether it's Agra, Jaipur, Manali, or Delhi-you've just got to head out there!

Today, the itinerary includes visits to Teen Murti Bhavan and Birla House, followed by lunch, then India Gate and the Parliament. In the evening, at 5:00 PM, we will visit places such as Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana.

If any friends in Delhi would like to meet, you are welcome to join us at Raj Ghat at 5:00 PM.

Back in July, I posted: "The peak will occur during the months of September, October, and November. By then, it will have been 3-5 months since people received their booster doses. The impact is most severe within 3-5 months of receiving the shot." Do you remember?

Now, I receive news of at least twenty deaths every single day-just in my personal messenger inbox.

Yet, they continue to put on an act. To keep the real cause from coming to light, they concoct false explanations, effectively managing the situation to ensure the public remains in the dark.

Heartbreak for hundreds of thousands of parents!

Back in July, I posted: The peak will occur during the months of September

The journey began in Manali early in the morning, reaching Delhi by night. This was taken when we stopped for dinner at Karneli Haveli along the way.

Manali!

How to describe such beauty!

One must see it at least once!

And then, one shall exclaim...

Jai Manali!

Being afraid of Corona...

A mask over the mouth, sanitizer in the hands!

Standing before the Taj Mahal to take a photograph...

Wearing warm, protective clothing in the mountains...

This is the path taken by the many...

But...
